How to Read Prescriptions of Contact Lenses?

There are times that you need to learn your lens information because you have to tell it to another doctor or to inform your family and friends who are quite curious about it. Not so much information can be found on the label, so you need to learn about this.


OD is referring to the right eye’s parameters, while OS is referring to your left eye’s.

SPH is referring to that lens power’s amount prescribed to alter the eyes’ vision. refers to the amount of lens power you’ve been prescribed to correct your vision.
